St. Henry's Church is inviting the community to shop, sell, and connect during its inaugural Community Garage Sale, a new event designed not only to raise funds for the parish, but to strengthen relationships throughout the Averill Park community.

The two-day event will take place Friday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the church parking lot.

Community members are invited to reserve parking spaces in the Church parking lot to sell their own items. A pair of parking spaces is available for a $25 donation to the church, while two adjacent pairs may be reserved for $40. Participants keep whatever proceeds they earn from their sales, though they are welcome to donate a portion back to the parish if they choose.

Space reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a space, participants must contact the St. Henry's Parish Office and submit payment by July 17. Unpaid reservations after that date will be released to others on the waiting list.
